Pink Fusion

In just a few more days, we officially welcome the Christmas Season. I can't help but be amazed by how quick 2018 went by. That is why aside from me recommending the look to wear for the Holidays, I'm also sharing some personal thoughts I managed to pickup this year.

First, when it comes to looking your best at Christmas Parties and social affairs, make it a point to choose standout colors such as Pink or Festive colors such as Red, Orange or Gold. In my previous post, I was wearing a hot pink number; for today, we are toning things down with something lighter such as peach or blush pink. These shades don't scream that you're seeking attention, yet effortlessly attracts the crowd to you. Call it subtle yet effective.

After choosing the color, consider the style and cut of your dress. Since I'm on the petite side, I try to choose cuts that elongate my torso to give me a more balanced silhouette. This is where halter or flowy dresses come in.

If you want to add some oomph, then showing just the right amount of skin can do the trick. Complete the look with an eyecatching pair of heels. In my case, I went full bloom and wore floral pumps in a striking color.

The dress I'm wearing was sent by ToSave , an online marketplace where you can shop for various products, from clothes to computer accessories, to even video games. Glad that I was able to finally wear it at an Engagement Party that I attended.

So you may ask what is my greatest takeaway for 2018? You may have heard this from other people hundreds of times but it's true: God sends the right people at exactly the right time. Funny how life works, but my being single actually paved way to many new friendships and opportunities. It's as if things just fell into place and I can't thank you enough.

Of course, I am still hopeful that one day, the stars would realign. After all, we all deserve a happy ever after. Ugh, such a hopeless romantic. To spare you any more drama, all I'm saying is that the love you give, in time, will return to you threefold; Just continue to inspire people.

Lastly, at the end of the day, remind yourself to have a grateful heart despite all the battles you may be facing. Learn to smile and take things one step at a time, to which I am still working on, up to this writing.
