Your New Hangout Place: CONRAD

If you need a quick breather (without even leaving the city proper),
Conrad Manila is one of those places you ought to visit.

Situated at Seaside Boulevard, Pasay City,
Conrad Manila has a spectacular view of the Manila Bay.
Since yesterday was extra special (Father's Day),
we figured that this was indeed the perfect place to celebrate.

Before entering the hotel premises,
please don't forget to appreciate the architectural facade of The Conrad. It is Iconic!
(not the one in our background, pun intended

So here are some snippets while we were on-board the Conrad
I won't show everything because where's the fun in that.

Managed to take a quick outfit shot while strolling around.

Dress by Apartment 8 Clothing

We even met Ray! The world keeps on getting smaller and smaller :)

If there's the slightest chance you even get bored,
S Maison (located at the lower level floors of the Conrad)
offers you various shopping boutiques, dining and
entertainment facilities to enjoy.

Since it's dad special day, dinner was definitely on us.
We treated him to this posh restaurant in Conrad Hotel called
China Blue by Jereme Leung. I'll let the photos do the talking.

For Starters, we had 2 orders of these

Shrimp Wasabi

Beef Asparagus Hunan

Truffle Mushroom Bun

Scallops

Spicy Chicken

A must try dessert --- Jereme Leung's version of Salted Egg.
Heaven in every bite!

Black Gold Bun

And with a panoramic view as beautiful and serene as this,
we were simply in paradise.

Whether it's father's day or not, always cherish your parents today and everyday.

Hope you enjoyed this post.

Keep Cool and Eat Ice Cream

Nowadays, Manila is becoming like the busy streets of NYC.
With today's fast-paced lifestyle, it's often difficult to find time
to relax and unwind, but when we do, it has got to be worth it.

While going around the Metro, my twin and I found a cool hangout place that
can satisfy our cravings and at the same time put a smile on our face.

Call it a guilty pleasure, but Ice Cream would always be part of everyone's childhood;
And I'm glad that Mr. Lincoln Cheong, the man behind the new
ice cream parlor Carousel Creameryunderstands that.

If you look closely at this photo, you'll know how well-loved and in-demand this place is.

With more than 101 flavors to choose from, the 'kid' in you will be all giddy.
To help you out, I did a little chitchat with the owner himself and
here are some revelations about Carousel Creamery:

TOP 3 BEST-SELLING ICE CREAM FLAVORS:
Speculoos, Dark Side Chocolate and NY Cheesecake

(I'm lucky to actually have chosen a crowd favorite, as the very first flavor
that I tried before getting to know Mr. Cheong was NY Cheesecake)
Verdict: melt in your mouth creamy goodness

TOP 3 MUST-TRY ICE CREAM FLAVORS:
S'mores, Chunky Cheese and Kitkat Milo Crunch

C.C. OWNER'S PERSONAL FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVORS:
Rum Raisin or All Spice 'n Everything Nice

And if you're looking for more interesting flavors, why not try
Pinoy Beer & Chicharon, Bacon & Cheese ice cream, Baileys or
perhaps Wasabi to tickle those tastebuds.
So many iconic flavors to choose from, what's not to love?

Not to mention, Carousel Creamery is not just pure ice cream;
they offer more than that.

If you're looking for some caffeine-kick with the goodness of ice cream,
give their signature | ESPRESSO SHAKE | a shot.
2 Scoops of Ice Cream and a double shot of espresso,
topped with whipped cream and coffee beans.

My twin and I chose Salted Caramel as a flavor for our Espresso Shake.
Normally for drinks, we would share, but for this shake, no can do :)
One Word: Delicioso!

For our combo deal, we ordered  | CHEESE DOG | .
The Hotdog comes with a side of fries, Heinz ketchup and Mayo.
Simply perfect for chillout sessions with your barkada.

Just look at us dig-in.
If you personally know us, we eat like boys!
Petite girls but with Big Appetite (hence our body figure, lol)

Our Dessert Experience wouldn't be complete without these 2 sweet treats:
 | BROWNIE ICE CREAM SANDWICH |
1 Scoop Vanilla Bean Ice Cream in between 2 brownies,
topped with warm homemade caramel sauce

 | OREO OVERLOAD |
Scoops of Dark Chocolate, Mocha Oreo and Rocky Road Ice Cream,
topped with Oreo cookies and wafer sticks

We could have shown you more IG worthy shots,
however our tummies are about to explode. Will definitely be back!

Here's a photo of us goofing around with sunnies just because it's summer :)

Irresistible Food (Melt in your mouth goodness),
Great Music (Beats full of life),
what's not to love?

Mind you though, this place easily gets full so you know what to do :)

UnMasked

Beauty need not be expensive.
Got no time nor budget for a facial session? No Problem.
Instead of concealing all your stress with heavy layers of makeup,

here's a quick fix in pampering thy self --- just because you deserve it :)

A few days ago, I got the opportunity to spend some ME-time with Vedette Facial Mask.
Vedette is a pioneer facial brand in Vietnam. As market leader,
they have a wide range of product lineup focusing on skin care, body care and hair care.

The first thing that I noticed upon opening the
Vedette Clay Facial Mask (Quercus Variant) was its soothing smell.
I chose this particular variant because it is the perfect fit to my busy lifestyle.
Think of it as an anti-stress skin solution --- a skin regimen like no other.

As both a fashion blogger and a businesswoman,
it is key for me to look my best in front of my clients.
I make it a habit to flush out signs of stress
to keep me looking young and vibrant.

Vedette is so easy to use. I first wash my face then pat it dry.
I then applied the clay all over my face.
After relaxing for about 20 minutes, I removed the product by
washing it out with cold water. What caught me by surprise was my skin
became exceptionally smooth. Almost as soft as baby skin.

The product is said to contain a fusion of
the properties of soggy mud and mineral salts,
no wonder my face feels clean --- a gentle kind of exfoliation, if you ask me.
For best results, use it at least once a week or whenever you need it :)

Vedette has solutions for all skin types. If you want to achieve fairer skin,
then pamper yourself with Pearl Whitening Mask.

Spoil yourself further with Vedette's Mask Sheets.
Rich in enzymes and minerals, your skin will surely thank you.

If you want convenience just like plug and play,
then mask sheets are a better option. The sheet is already precut.
All you have to do is wash your face then tear off the packet to unfold the mask.

Relax for about 15 to 20 minutes over some of your favorite music.
After which, remove the mask and wash your face with warm water.

I chose the Strawberry Yoghurt mask sheet variant because it helps
restore my skin's moisture, as well as helps lighten freckles.
Feel free to use this twice a week or whenever you need some ME time.
It's a refreshing way to pamper yourself.

If you follow my posts, then here's another secret why I manage to
still look young and vibrant despite all the stress :)
Vedette is my perfect Skin Food to look young and radiant.

Happy Love Month Everyone! :)
