Chic and Polished

Style for me is very personal ---it's liberating.
That's why as both a fashion blogger and businesswoman,
I make it a point that I always look presentable.

When dressing up, I usually draw inspiration from
my mood or a striking accessory like so.

Take for instance this eyecatching Sallygator bag
colorful Handle Wrap from Oh My Bag PH

I love how easy I can transform my look from day to night.

The handle wraps are so versatile that it can actually
give any bag an instant facelift.

And yes, you can also wear it as a scarf. Oh how I wish I own
all 50 designs of these handle wraps. The satin finish is superb and
I'm having so much fun matching it with my OOTDs!

Another way on how you can sport handle wraps is
to tie it as a ribbon or a bag scarf.
Styling these babies are endless possibilities.

At the end of the day,
it's all about putting your personality to what you're wearing.

I went for a look that is chic and polished,
hence the matching scarf and bag scarf by Oh My Bag PH.

If there's one thing to remember, it's to
always have fun with your ensemble. Be open to trying out
new looks because who knows it can eventually be your style peg.

And for all those fashionistas and bag aficionados out there,
if you want to give the best care possible for your bags,
then I highly suggest that you checkout Oh My Bag .
They also offer various bag care products ranging from
bag raincoats, bag stuffers and base shapers
to keep your well-loved companions in tip-top shape.

The Secret to looking Fabulous

How time flies! To end September with a bang,
I'd like to share with you 2 looks that I created using
the same pair of shoes by one of my favorite shoe brands --- SoFab!.

Women today look more confident in a red dress.

So for the first ensemble, I paired my strappy heels with an offshoulder dress.
You can call this look MODERN CHIC
It spells just the right amount of sex appeal, don't you think? (lol)

For the second ensemble, I went for a peg that is sweet and feminine.
Call this THE ETHEREAL LOOK.

I find floral crowns totally charming and I don't mind wearing it ,
whether it's still on trend or not. After all, to feel good,
you've got to love what you're wearing.

A sleeveless dress with a dainty or pastel color matched with heels like so
will surely make heads turn and eyes roll.

Which look do you like better? Which dress will you most likely wear?
Whatever your answers are, always remember that
a beautiful pair of shoes will definitely take you places.

If possible, do not compromise style over comfort
especially if you can have both.

As Marilyn Monroe would say,
"Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world."

Keep it Casual

Just a quick post before I call it a night.
Here's a casual look perfect for days
when you want to dress down yet still look dolledup.

When doing some errands, jeans would always be your best option
for maximum comfort. You can move all you want
without any peek-a-boo whatsoever. You know what I mean :)

A high waist denim like so is best paired with a neutral color top
with shoulder-baring cuts or with your favorite crop top.
Go for gold accessories as these add sophistication to your outfit.

Hope you enjoyed your weekend my dear readers.
If there's one thing I realized during this weekend is that
life will continue to surprise you. Always remember to stay positive
and believe that someday everything will fall into place :)

Corporate Chic

If pantsuits aren't your style staple for powerdressing,
then why not try pencil dresses in two-tone colors for a change.

The beauty with color-block dresses like so is its ability to somehow
contour your body. I'm far from sexy but don't you think that the
contrasting colors seem to create an illusion of
a slender yet curvier silhouette?

This scene-stealer dress is from ROMWE ,
one of my favorite online fashion stores.
I paired the dress with some nude heels for a more sophisticated feel.

For this particular photo, I added a matching cap just for fun :)

Stay beautiful and inspired dear readers :)

Pretty in Pastel

Audrey Hepburn has always been known for her stylish flair.
So this time, I took a little inspiration from the style icon herself
to recreate a look that I can call as the Modern Audrey.

To add a little fun,
I didn't go for her signature look (Breakfast at Tiffany's),
that being of a little black dress and a cigarette holder.

Instead, I went for a more modern twist by sporting a
pastel colored dress with an eyeliner wand.
Props to creativity and being resourceful!
Say Hello to the new generation of stylists! lol :)

Always remember my dear readers that Style is Ageless.
You don't need to imitate someone to look great;
Learn to embrace your own style.

So why not take inspiration from my modern Audrey look and
recreate a beautiful silhouette out of soft patterns like so.

Love at First Sail

As promised, here comes Part 2 of the featured wedding celebration.
Get ready to Set Sail with Captain Jason and his First Mate Christine.

As we entered the ship, we were welcomed by this nautical set.

It was truly a night to remember.

From that first dance as a couple

To Endless kisses

And to Rekindled Friendship

Photo from Kyra Chong |

These two are definitely going to have a long yet beautiful journey.
And yes, they have perfected the art of smiling.

For those who might be too shy to ask who did her gown,
I had a quick chat with the bride herself.
Christine is wearing a creation by Cecilio Abad.

And speaking of fashion, if you've read my previous post,
you would have noticed that I did an outfit change.

For the Reception, I wanted to sport a look that is
both earthy and elegant to embody a romantic vibe.

Instead of going for something lavish and intricate,
this time I went for an ensemble that is simple and understated,
the kind that will make you look fabulous, even without trying.

Pastel and Nude colors will always be one of my top choices because it
highlights my silhouette as well as brings out my skin's natural glow.
Finish the look with gold accents and a nude pair of heels :)

More photos before I call it a night.

Te Amo

Only time can tell when we will find the right person to spend the rest of our lives with,
and when we do, we ought to marry for the right reason;
Not out of wealth nor stature, but simply because of love.

I'm glad to have witnessed a beautiful wedding ceremony last 21st of May.
One of my childhood friends tied the knot with the man of her dreams.

Being the stylist in me, I'd like to share with you my choice of clothing during
the matrimony of Jason and Christine.
More photos of the ceremony at the latter part of the post :)

The look I went for was sleek and minimal.

| Dress by Miss Couture |

As they say, less is more.
I went for a simple yet streamlined attire for a church appropriate ensemble.

I wore basic shades of gray and black for a feminine silhouette.

The details I focused on were mainly
immaculate tailoring and a great fabric like so.
I believe that these are key to being all glammed up.
What do you think about the look I created?

Remember to always put a big smile on your face
just like Auntie Cynthia, the beautiful mom of the bride.

Christine aka C.AW has always been admired by many.
She is not only class valedictorian but an overachiever in many fields.

Being a loving and obedient daughter that she is,
it is of great joy to her parents to see her walk down the aisle.
Not to mention, a little bit of separation anxiety for their unica hija.

Her grandma was crying as she accompanied Christine on her special day.
So much feels for this photo.

And of course her beautiful bestfriend Aileen was all smiles.
Pretty soon, I believe she will follow the footsteps of her BFF :)

Here are Rana and Pauline imparting some beautiful Scriptures.

If there's one thing I have never seen C.AW do in our years of friendship,
it's to get angry. Her smile and laughter have always been her best asset.
I'm sure that's one of the many reasons why Jason fell for her.

A cute candid photo of the couple with some friends.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs. Lim.
Can't wait to meet your little juniors in God's perfect timing.
May you stay in love, always.

Part 2 of the ceremony up next in my blog :)
