Keep it Casual

Just a quick post before I call it a night.
Here's a casual look perfect for days
when you want to dress down yet still look dolledup.

When doing some errands, jeans would always be your best option
for maximum comfort. You can move all you want
without any peek-a-boo whatsoever. You know what I mean :)

A high waist denim like so is best paired with a neutral color top
with shoulder-baring cuts or with your favorite crop top.
Go for gold accessories as these add sophistication to your outfit.

Hope you enjoyed your weekend my dear readers.
If there's one thing I realized during this weekend is that
life will continue to surprise you. Always remember to stay positive
and believe that someday everything will fall into place :)

Black is the New Clean

I'll keep it short but sweet.
Women are the most beautiful when they feel good about themselves.

So if there's one style staple that every girl must own,
it's the famous Little Black Dress aka LBD.
Trust me, that extra oomph will make wonders!

For style aficionados out there, this dress of mine is from ROMWE.

By now, you've probably heard this a million times:
---That Black makes you look Sexy;

But what most people don't know is that
Black is the New Clean.

Ironic as it may sound, you might ask me, in what way?
Well, it's all about Palmolive Naturals' newest soap,
Palmolive Naturals Flawless Clean
infused with 100% natural charcoal powder.

I know, I know, an instant reaction would be, "Charcoal??? That's dirty!"
Before you judge though, do give it a shot because charcoal powder actually
helps wash away dirt from the skin leaving it soft to touch.

It's the first of its kind that will leave you feeling clean and flawless all day.
It's time for you to discover the New Clean.

Fall in love with black and join me in a beautiful affair to remember :)

Classic Thursdays

A few days ago, I celebrated my birthday.
It was a Thursday so as expected we were booked for several business meetings.

Since it's my special day, I wanted to look good yet
still maintain that sense of professionalism in my line of work.

I've been saving this eye-catching ensemble for my birthday.
What I love about this dress from OASAP is that
it hugs your body in the right places and accentuates your curves.

OASAP is a high-street fashion global online store.
They offer the latest trends in women's apparel, bag, shoes & accessories.
The best part of all? OASAP ships worldwide for FREE.

This dress comes in V neck and features a color block panel.
What makes me love this dress even more is that
it's a bodycon dress with belted waist and back slit.
Now that's really sexy.

It's sophisticated and comfortable.
Simply a Classic! Pair it with heels and you'll look stunning.

Black and white has always been a classic combination.
While this color might be monochrome, it need not be boring.

Always remember that the best fashion is the one you're most comfortable in.
Also, Smile and you'll look amazing! Hope you enjoyed my fashion post.

Beat the Odds

Thought for the Day
Heads or Tails. Odd or Even. Yes or No.
All these have one common denominator: Choice

I guess it's safe to say that:
Life is a gamble;
It's a matter of how you play it.

I wore this to Shangrila for a leisurely stroll and of course dinner.
I particularly love my pants because it's very unique.

Think of  Yin and Yang or Harvey Dent aka Two-Face from Dark Knight (haha)
Interesting play of colors I must say.

How do you like my outfit for today?

Since the pants already scream attention,
my advice is to wear tops that are neutral in color.
White or Black are my best bet.
Remember to have one center of attraction.

So now I'd like to share with you where my family and I had dinner!
IKKORYU FUKUOKA RAMEN
A new restaurant located in Level 5 of Shangrila's new and exciting East Wing.

Here's what we ordered

Ikkoryu Stick Tonkatsu
Crunchy Pork Cutlets

 Ajitama Tonkotsu
Topped with a special half-boiled egg that is fully marinated with a special blended soy sauce base
(Indeed my favorite!)

 Gyoza

 Yakimeshi

Asari Butter
Stir fried clam with butter

Everything we ordered was delicious!
This explains why it's always packed.
 I highly recommend it :)

Black Leopard

I've been MIA this past few weeks because of my hectic schedule.
Now that I've returned, I'm starting it with one of my favorite dresses.

I got this stunning black dress from ROMWE.
Don't you just love the leopard embellishments on my scoop-neck sleeveless dress?!!
It gives me that RAWR-factor (lol)

I wore this today at Rockwell and I did garner some fans :))

Wearing mullet dresses like this just gives off a certain sexiness of a mini skirt
and the comfort of a maxi dress. Just add some heels when you're petite like me.

Just look at how the asymmetric hem can create a slim-fit finish! Just perfect!

Glitter in Black

"One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a Little Black Dress."
                                                          -Karl Lagerfeld

What I wore to today's meeting?
A Little Black Peplum Dress!

As expected, people just came in casual attire. But as part of the event,
I didn't mind putting some extra effort to dress up as an executive :)
My dress in fact has glitters all over. Some are actually captured in the camera.
Just pair your LBD with nude pumps and you'll look fab!

I may be overdressed or whatnot, but I'm  happy that I did look great
with the compliments I got from random people.

HeartBeat

I'm in love.... (Well, not the kind you're thinking)

Have you ever felt that there's something different about yourself but you yourself can't explain what it is? Well, I did one morning. It's rare that such happens so I felt like blogging about it. I guess I woke up to a very good morning, probably because of a good rest or a result of a sweet dream. Whatever it is, I hope there were more days like this.

For my outfit, I just chose something simple for work. Since I felt inspired that morning, I decided to wear red and pair it with skinny jeans. As I've shared, I dress according to my mood. There's just something with red and black that when you combine together, you immediately look fab.

My theology professor once asked our class,
"What's your vocation in life?"
We came up with different answers, but it ended with one simple yet profound answer.

"To Fall in Love"

Love here not only having that significant other but more of seeing the world as it is.

So be it. I fell in love with the World.
My world being my family, friends and everyone I have shared a  memory with.
I guess that's the reason in living. You live because you love and you love because you believe.

So let's just let life take us where it wants us to be. As they say, things will fall into place, in time :)
