Pretty in Pastel

Audrey Hepburn has always been known for her stylish flair.
So this time, I took a little inspiration from the style icon herself
to recreate a look that I can call as the Modern Audrey.

To add a little fun,
I didn't go for her signature look (Breakfast at Tiffany's),
that being of a little black dress and a cigarette holder.

Instead, I went for a more modern twist by sporting a
pastel colored dress with an eyeliner wand.
Props to creativity and being resourceful!
Say Hello to the new generation of stylists! lol :)

Always remember my dear readers that Style is Ageless.
You don't need to imitate someone to look great;
Learn to embrace your own style.

So why not take inspiration from my modern Audrey look and
recreate a beautiful silhouette out of soft patterns like so.

Model Off-Duty

Before you judge, i'm not a model nor a superstar.
Although I do wish of becoming one,
sadly I don't have the looks nor the height.

But if ever there comes a day I'm given an opportunity
to be on print or media, then why not.
Honestly, I'd even do it for free :)

Up until today, I am very grateful that I was able to
somehow live the impossible dream.

If you've been following my blog,
then you would have read my post entitled Runway Dreams
wherein I got to model under Plains & Prints for the Glorietta Vibe event.

That moment was indeed surreal.
I pray that it's only the beginning of beautiful things to come.

If you share the same sentiments like I do,
three words: Pursue Your Dreams.

In fact, aside from my runway gig,
the closest I've had to achieving my dreams is my very own fashion blog.
It's not perfect but someday I hope to get my own share of the spotlight.

Now that you know my story, what better way
to live the moment than to take cue from models themselves.

My 'model off duty' look will focus on white pieces.
I'd go for a white offshoulder top paired with jeans and white sneakers.
For a chic yet sweet look, caps will definitely be part of my ensemble.

Special mention to my good friend Hannah for this beautiful top.
I feel fresh and au naturel, just the way I wanted!

Let Go

As promised, here's a blog post of the OOTD snippet I posted in IG a few weeks ago.

If you're an avid blog follower of mine, you would have noticed by now
that my style is very feminine and sophisticated.

But once in awhile, I make it a point to revamp my look to encourage
all my readers like you that style evolves thru time.

The look I created was a combination of chic and edgy.

If you want to recreate your own version,
then it's time to pair up your favorite crop top with black leather pants.

Bring your ensemble to the next level of chic with these accessories:
If you're feeling a little bit boho, then fringes are the way to go.
Go for jewelry in gold tones to make your ensemble standout.
And yes, boots/wedges like these are a must have.

Wearing a red lippie also adds a little bit of drama.
What do you think?

Finish your look with a smile on your face.
It make everything brighter :)

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Have fun recreating your looks.

Let go of ordinary and surprise yourself with something amazing :)

That Thing Called Plaid

August marks the start of another school year.
If you're still a student, here's an outfit suggestion that you can sport.

Instead of wearing plaid which is quite ordinary these days,
I recommend that you try Houndstooth,a modern take to plaid.

Houndstooth is a duotone pattern consisting of abstract
four-pointed shapes, often in a color combination of black and white.

I created this ensemble for a casual and chic look,
simply perfect for day to day school affairs.

My top and skirt are both from ROMWE. This brand's fashion collection is
so diverse that I can find everything I need in it. Not to mention, they are always
updated with the latest styles and trends. Perfect for all fashionistas out there.

Always remember that there are a lot of ways to personalize a look.
It doesn't mean that what works for me will work for you.
It's all a matter of getting some style inspiration and turning it
into a look you can call your very own.

Prima Ballerina

I've always admired ballerinas.
The way they dance... the way they compose themselves make me
wonder how much discipline they put in such graceful movements.

While I am no prima ballerina, it doesn't hurt to look like one, even for just a day.
So for all those aspiring ballerinas out there, here's a little fashion inspiration :)

First things first, grab your trustee Pointe shoes.
The ribbons and bands make my shoes resemble the real thing.
What do you think? Pointe and flex shall we? :)

Next, choose a fitted yet flattering-to-your-silhouette dress.

If you feel like wearing tutus, by all means, go :)
Since I'm no real dancer, no need to wear tights or leotards for this look.
What's important is you are comfortable in your ballet clothes.

Lastly, don't forget to smile and have fun.
Ballet is such a beautiful form of art and it's meant to be enjoyed.
What do you think of today's fashion peg? :)

Polka Dots

Some people opt not to wear polka dots from head to toe
for fear of resembling cartoon characters and becoming a fashion wreck.
My perfect solution for such is to wear Polka dots as an "accessory" to any outfit.

My outfit looks like a dress, but it's actually two separate pieces.
Since I'm already wearing a Polka Dots tube, which in itself is loud and attractive,
everything else that I'm wearing should be in a solid color.

I chose a ruffled red skirt to go with this Polka Dots top.
Red and Black are playful colors and are perfect complements to each other.

I'd call this as my Betty Boop Peg!

What do you think? :)

Sweet Mess

Whoever said that wearing black is a bad idea during summer, I'd say think again.

Black is mysterious and playful at the same time.
Just pair it with some colorful shorts and you're all set for summer!

Anyways, I don't know why, but some of these pictures remind me of Carly Rae Jepsen.
Asian Version and fatter though!
Hopefully, it's not a bad thing (haha)
Oh boy...Must be my fringes, but as I've said in my previous post, change is good :)

What I love about this black cover-up is that it's made of crochet!
It's very light. How Ingenious! I love it.
