It's been awhile since I last blogged. This pandemic has caused so much fatigue to everyone. Like it or not, this is our new normal and the golden rule is to get vaccinated and wear masks as much as you can. So while I dream for a better and safer tomorrow, I've collated some of my favorite Black OOTDs pre-pandemic and pandemic days. Don't worry, we made sure we had the place all to ourselves.
BLACK DRESS + BOOTS
It keeps raining here and there so why not rain boots to pair with this LBD. The ultimate girl scout for an unpredictable weather. After all, who wants to get their feet all soaked with rainwater.
BLACK AND WHITE TERNO + SHAWL + WHITE SNEAKERS
It's time to combine both comfort and curves with this look. A terno is the easiest way to look all made up without the effort. Accessorize with an earth tone or muted shawl to complement the ensemble. Rock it with sneakers if you expect a long walk or a pair of pumps for nights you'd want to sip wine with friends.
LACE DRESS + LAYERED JEWELRY + WHITE HEELS
For those romantic nights, a lace dress is the perfect balance of sweet and sultry. Normally no accessories are needed but if you want to take another notch and play with your looks, then why not try beaded or layered accessories for a change. Wear what you feel most beautiful in.
BLACK DRESS + BELT + STRAPPY HEELS
Remember those friday nights when you can't wait to celebrate? All you need to do is change your shoes from day wear to night wear and you're all set. And yes, don't forget to wear your favorite lippie. Red lips would automatically revamp your look.
MINI DRESS + VEST + NUDE HEELS
One trick to achieve an instant diva vibe is wearing fur. Add the cap, the shades, and the heels and people might just mistake you as a celebrity. Kidding aside, you can wear your LBDs countless times by matching it with interesting styles and textures.
LEATHER DRESS + BLOUSE + COMFY PAIR OF HEELS
Time to go chic and edgy by sporting leather. I wore this in our Dessert Museum date just to bring out that fun vibe. I remember my date calling this the Korean Look. So if you enjoy Kdramas, take cue from this ensemble.
MAXI DRESS + HANDBAG + BLOCK HEELS
Whether you're doing grocery or out for an errand, this can be your go-to look. It's a no fuss attire, allowing you to freely move. Don't forget to get your daily cup of joe especially if you're going back for zoom calls and the like.
SHEER DRESS + STYLISH HEELS
In this humid weather, sheer accents will allow your skin to breathe. It can even add a bit of charm and mystery to your aura. This dressy look is a good complement to the greens. In my case, I wore this in Fernbrook Gardens. It was a very dreamy place where I can take fairytale-like photos.
