Stop and Stare

Just like Helen of Troy who was said to be the woman who launched a thousand ships,
this look of mine certainly did engage hundreds of fashion critics.
Of course, some good and some bad. Haters gonna hate (kidding!)

So my Peg here is actually Gossip Girl.
Something fun, sexy and daring I must say.

For me, being a true fashionista is someone who can carry just about anything
and still feel good with herself.

I wore this outfit to Glorietta and believe it or not, I felt like a star being chased by Paparazzis :))
Haha! Every time I walk pass by someone, they would automatically look back and stare at me
from head to toe. Crazy right?!! I had mixed emotions since I knew that some really admired my look
while others would think that it was very disturbing and revealing.

Well, in fashion, you can't please everybody :)

Funny thing is, a gay person even approached me and said "Ang sexy mo 'teh"
All eyes were on me. I certainly did play the part of Gossip Girl that night.

So by now, you must be intrigued what are the brands I'm wearing.

Collared Sleeveless Top and Lace shorts from Taylor
Fashionable Tights from Leg Love by City Lady
Pointed Pumps by MNJ

More Details

My top and bottom from Taylor was the perfect combination to hype my look.
Lace will always be attractive!
Something different from my past looks I must say :)

How to look quirky and edgy? Wear fashionable tights or stockings from Leg Love by City Lady.
This is actually the secret to my entire look. It's designed by Mr. Pablo Cabahug,
who won Designer of the Year for 2010 Look of Style Awards.
Indeed, it's a classic work of art that is very flattering and enhancing to the female silhouette.
Simply said, A fashion statement that certainly will may eyes pop!

This is how it looks at the back!

Another accessory that completes my look is my bag from ROMWE.
I love how simple yet beautiful this bag is. Its leather-design crocodile-texture detailing is a stunner!
The color combination of black and gold screams sophistication.
This bag comes with oversized handstraps and a detachable shoulder strap, adorable right?!
Someday, I hope to become a certified ROMWE girl! I just love their shop so much :)

So that's my fun-filled and "scandalous" experience in Glorietta mall :)

It was really full because food is indeed superb!

Nude Elegance

The best way to look elegant is to for the Classic Look.
My definition of Classic: Something Simple yet Noticeable

Sounds ironic right?
But truth is, this is how you get attention without exerting much effort.

I'm wearing a Nude Shift dress from ROMWE
Yes, it is indeed very simple in front BUT....

don't you just love the cut-out back design of this dress?

I'd say the style is very sweet and modern.
The self-tie ribbon is adorable, don't you agree?

And Oh! the pleats of this dress make it all the more interesting.
I'm SO in love with it!

So now, how do you accessorize without getting overboard?

I'd say a pair of shades and stunning heels is all you need.

I'm wearing shades from FLY
I just love how their sunglasses can easily perk my outfit.
I look so chic and sophisticated.
FLY Shades offer various styles and colors that will surely
catch your attention (or that guy you've been eyeing of ever since, wink wink)

For my heels, I'm wearing Rusty Lopez.
The metallic Gold of my shoes are simply perfect for the elegance of my dress.

If, however, you're the type of girl who loves to add more creativity,
then you could be more experimental like what I did:

Gigantic watch plus a French leather Beret Cap :)

Lastly, don't forget to SMILE.
SMILING is by far the best accessory.
Trust me, guys can't help but notice girls who smile.

Roses are Red

So it's Love Month again.

Couple holding hands while walking...
Fresh roses being delivered...
Surprises being made here and there...
...All for the effort of Love.

Though I don't have someone special yet, I just love seeing people fall in love.
How I just wish that people were like this every single day.
I'll be sharing with you some tidbits of my love life in the latter part of this post
so keep reading my dear readers.

But First, how did I welcome Valentines Day? By Wearing Red.

Larraby Dress by Plains and Prints

I intentionally wore red to deceive people that I have a date on this special day
and guess what, it actually did work. Haha! Anyways, this beautiful dress I am wearing is from
the China Collection of Plains and Prints.

I just love this dress because of its asymmetrical cuts and very striking color.
It's very light and flowy, simply perfect for a date or a night out with friends.
It requires minimal accessories as it can do all the talking.

Necklace from Aldo
Heels by Chelsea

I'm a very sentimental and nostalgic person if you know me well.
Back in high school and college, I'd say I did receive quite a number of flowers and gifts from suitors.
Every time I'd receive a bouquet of flowers, I'd make sure that I' preserve some of its petals
and up to this day I still have them. All the letters and pictures of my friends are also kept in a very special box.
I'd keep everything or at least preserve a memory of it. I'm a sucker for this haha :))

So are you wondering who I got these presents from this 14th of February 2013?

Well, this time it's not from a guy.
This came from none other than my very close friend Jasmin.
She wanted me to feel all the love this Valentines
and she was indeed successful to make me feel special.

Truth is, I realized that Valentines is not just for couples
but also a way of appreciating the goodness in someone.
 It's all about SHARED LOVE.
Jas is indeed a sister to me and I thank God that
I have her as one of my best friends.

Every Girl loves to receive flowers.
There's just something with it that makes me swoon or have butterflies in my stomach.

So I guess since its the season of Love, memories have been haunting me lately (in a good way though)

I won't divulge all as some are really personal but here are some of the sweetest memories/ kilig moments
that I cherish up until now that were done by mostly different guys:

- A basketball game was offered for me "This Game is For you"
- I being part of his Dream
- Him cutting some classes just to teach me
- Receiving a Bear and a letter right before a difficult test
- Receiving a text in the middle of class telling me to go down because he bought some Starbucks for me
- Dropping by my house and bringing some sweets to cheer me up after some bad test result
-Being my doctor/ rescue when I injured my feet. Toenails were bleeding. He temporarily cleaned my wound
-Giving me his Blue Rose in Ateneo
- When someone said "I will not go to this (event) if it's not you I'm going with

Okay, I guess that's more than enough. I'm getting carried away already =*)

Cupid might still be busy with other people but someday I wish I'll get to meet my better half. I don't know if he is just around the corner or I have met him already, but no matter what, I just hope that when that time comes, I'll just know.

I guess Love comes by when you least expect it. I just hope that the guy I will fall in love with will stick with me through thick and thin. Someone who would still open the car door for me. Someone who would consider my feelings. Someone who would be proud to introduce me to his family and friends. In other words, someone who would make me feel special always.

And when that time comes that I finally say YES to him, I do hope that he will still continuously pursue me and make me feel that I am his world. Who doesn't want her fairy tale to come true right? Someday, I will meet him and hopefully he will be my first and last.

Tangerine

What's so special about February 10, 2013?

It marks the 1st day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar and the beginning of the Year of the Water Snake!
The Snake is said to be the 6th sign of the Chinese Zodiac which consists of 12 animal signs.
Since this is my animal sign, I do hope that it's going to be my year :)

A typical Chinese would wear Red to welcome the New Year.
This Year I wanted to make it different by wearing Tangerine Orange instead.
It's very vibrant and certainly eye-catching.
Don't you think?

Dresses like this no longer need any accessorizing as the lines and geometric shapes
would do all the talking. I suggest that you style your hair either side-swept or in a high ponytail
to fully accentuate the beauty of your dress. Lastly, all you have to do is work it :)

This dress was what I wore today in our New Year celebration at Golden Bay.
After which, we went to Mall of Asia to stroll around and watch the famous Lion Dance.
Oh how I just love celebrations like this, people are all so alive and cheerful :)

So let's all raise our glass and start the year right! Cheers!

Abstract

When it comes to wearing black, 3 elements can make you stand out:
Color, Shape and Cut

My dress is a combination of all 3. Perfecto!
The splash of colors are so vivid just like the city's bright lights.
Lines and Geometric Shapes accentuate my body's features.
The Cut adds the attitude.

Pair it with some White Pointed Court shoes and Voila!

So how Do you like my look?
