The Paleo Way

I must confess that when it comes to eating, I'm one of the boys.
Diet is really not in my vocabulary (which explains the figure),
because food is too good to resist.

If you follow my IG account, then I'm sure you know why :)

BUT for all those who love to eat, yet want to take care of their figure,
this entry is dedicated for you. As promised, I'm always on the lookout
for good things, both for you and me.

Got my 'happy dose of calories', thanks to Paleo Manila who delivered
these sumptuous meals right to my doorstep. Whether you have no time to cook or
are just looking for some healthy alternatives, then it's time to try Paleo :)

Zooming in to the meal plan...
A burst of flavors that definitely satisfied my hunger.
And a major advantage to all health buffs:
All- Natural. Gluten-Free. Grain-Free. Non-GMO. No Preservatives. Woah.

So here's what I had from Breakfast to Dinner.

Time to Unbox! 5 meals for the day--- 2 of which are snacks!
Paleo certainly knows how to make diet meals fun and healthy :)
And if you're in the mood for a little more presentation,
then follow me by enjoying these meals with beautiful plating.

My tummy was very happy and what makes it even better is
I need not even worry about my calorie intake because Paleo has got that covered,
with carefully planned meals like so.

Special thanks to Isabelle Chiang of Paleo Manila for letting me try this out!

Meet Paleo's 3 gorgeous founders.

A big congratulations to your 3rd Year Anniversary.
Cheers to more years of success! <3

Secret Garden

There's just so many things in life that you can't control.
Your thoughts, your feelings, they happen whether you like it or not.
In fact, the more you resist, the more it bothers you.

Life is a constant battle, and so is time. In fact, I'm writing this post
to get my mind off things, as it was indeed a crazy work day.
Blogging is a good avenue to release negative vibes. No worries, sharing fashion
to my readers has never been a chore, as passion is there to inspire :)

I've always emphasized the importance of power dressing.
Take for instance this pencil dress in floral that I'm wearing.
The look I went for was something sweet and casual, without going overboard.
Pair it with some eyecatching heels and you're good to go.

And oh, a little slit cut at the back gives it a sexy twist.

True, you ought to dress to impress, but that will only last you a few seconds.
More than that, do remember that if you need to perk up your mood or set the
right tone and attitude, the secret is the choice of clothing--style, color et al.

I do hope you learned a thing or two.
Life is never easy, but one day, it will be worth it.
Whether it's finding the right job, falling in love with the right person, or
just simply being content with life, good things take time.

Love,

A love to Last

There's something about the Grecian culture that inspires and fascinates me.
Back in college, my friends would call me Greek Goddess because of my fashion sense.

No wonder, when the time comes that I will ever get married,
the theme will come as a no-brainer. Prepare for something divine.

Welcome to my humble home.

All thanks to Jas, Echie and I were able to squeeze some time to visit this
beautiful temple, on our short trip to Cebu last July :)

It was raining back then but I didn't mind getting soaked
as long as I get great photos. Yes, for the love of photos!!!
My bestfriend was so concerned that I might get sick.

I love you to bits!

Located in Brgy Busay, Temple of Leah was built in 2012 by Ellen Adarna's grandfather
Teodorico Adarna to honor his beloved wife of 53 years, Leah, who died of cancer.

All of Leah's personal collection of books
and various art pieces are said to be housed in this grand temple.
Entrance fee for this 'tourist attraction' is Php 50.

Credits to my bestfriend Echie for taking my photos as well as for capturing
the Grecian and Roman inspired architectural design and facade.
She was very kind to share these with me.

Leah is indeed very lucky to have a man like Teodorico. He is such a keeper.
Death may have separated them physically, but the love they have for each other
remains to be intact through this magnificent tribute.

Someday, I do hope to find the man that I will love for the rest of my life.
I don't know when, where and who but hopefully in God's perfect timing, I will.

Cebu is like my second home.
