Vintage Romance

How has your 2015 been so far? I hope things have been extraordinary! :)
Today's post is special because aside from my usual OOTD,
this look of mine serves 2 other purposes,
(Yes, you've guessed it right),
PROM and VALENTINES DAY.

It's not every day that girls get to experience being all-glammed up,
so for extra special events like these, I'm here to give some advice :)

Believe me or not, it may actually take days and even months (for some!)
to plan and create the perfect ensemble.

If u ask me, instead of choosing the usual LBD or LWD,
why not go for a Little Red Dress this time around.

Whether you're off to a date with your significant other or
to attend a grand ball as Cinderella,
Red should be a color that every girl must consider.

Red makes you look sweet and confident.
It gives you that charming glow

and at the same time some breath of mystery.

Remember, the key to any outfit are its details.
You don't need to over-accessorize to look like a million-dollar babe.

Like for instance, I wanted something classy, yet vintage looking,
so an off-shoulder lace dress is my best bet.
Add some pearls, wear some leopard pumps and voila!
An irresistibly stylish you.

If you're feeling a bit edgy,
then feel free to complement your look with an ultra chic sweater.
In my case, I chose a boyish cover-up to balance the look.

As for the hairstyle, I suggest letting your hair down.
I'd go with some sexy curls to vamp up your look.

And while we're at it, I would like to suggest a new product by Pantene:
3 Minute Miracle Conditioner
I've tried it and it does create wonders especially considering I style my hair everyday.
Cliche as it may sound, your hair is your crowning glory so condition it well :)

And  lastly, as they say,
you're never fully dressed without a smile.

A smile can in fact be your best asset and boys go gaga over it.

Now that you're all set, remember to have fun :)

Dressing well is just one step to making the first impression,
so make sure that impression lasts :)

And oh before I end this post, check this out!
My pets posing for the camera :)

For those of you who are wondering where I got my burgundy dress,
it's from ROMWE, one of my favorite global online shops :)

Pair it with this leopard pumps from Payless ShoeSource, Inc.
and you'll look hot in no time. That's comfort and style all rolled into one!

Hope you enjoyed this special post.

I'll bring you more of these prom inspirations and date looks
in my succeeding posts.

Love lots <3

An Encounter with Pope Francis

It's not often that Filipinos get to meet nor see The Pope.
After all, 20 years has been a long time.

So when we heard that we were part of the Media Group,
we just couldn't say no.
Once in a lifetime opportunity :)

I'm sure by now, Pope Francis is trending all over social media because
the way he LOVES is admirable.

This is one of the many photos that has moved me.
Most of us fear of being near to people who are sick or who are simply "different",
but Pope Francis shows us that every single human being is worthy to be loved;

He kisses this man suffering from boils in Saint Peters Square.

Here is a video I managed to get as Pope Francis exits UST

More photos of the event

Being part of the crowd and seeing how strong their faith are is truly overwhelming.

Can you recognize this celebrity in the middle? :)

Though there have been several incidents wherein people passed-out because of the congestion,
I give commendation to the Security Group who made every effort to ensure the wellbeing
 of every single person present.

If there's one message that Pope Francis hopes to instill in all of us
in his 5-day state and pastoral visit,
it's mercy, compassion and humility

He went all the way to Tacloban to comfort and strengthen
the victims of typhoon calamities.

He chose to ride a popemobile fashioned by a jeepney,
making him vulnerable to any possible threats.

And above all, he taught us how to love completely.

Thank you for visiting the Philippines Pope Francis.
We Love You.

Let's all strive in making better versions of ourselves, and hopefully
inspire others to share God's legacy of love :)

Stay tuned for my next post :)

All that Sparkle

Time for my First Outfit Post for 2015.
A Happy Happy New Year to Everyone! :)

Welcoming the New Year with Sequins!
It's said in Chinese Tradition that to attract luck and positive energy,
one ought to wear bright colored clothing for the New Year :)

I got my shiny top from Clothes Buffet Manila.
This was one of my favorite hauls during the shopping buffet event.

For those who weren't able to attend the First Season,
it's a must to experience the next. I heard it's going to be bigger and better.
Something we can all look forward to this 2015.

To style this look, just add a classy scarf to pump up your ensemble.

There are hundreds of ways to style a scarf so be creative.
I've showed you the first three.
Have fun figuring out the rest :)
