Baby it's Christmas

Christmas may have gone by so fast,
but the Holiday Cheer is still very much intact.
Now that it's almost New Year, it's the perfect time to glam up :)

Today's ensemble takes inspiration from the
girl-next-door look, but with a modern twist.

Who says you can't wear sneakers with a feminine outfit?
A little touch of sporty wouldn't hurt.
For me, it's not only comfortable but ultra stylish.

My white sneakers is from Natural World Eco.
It's a shoe brand from Spain that prides themselves with manufacturing
fashionable footwear using only eco-friendly materials.

Now that's an initiative that is very admirable and worth supporting.
Thank you Tita Priscilla for this lovely pair of white sneakers :)

How about you? How do you plan to rock the white sneaker trend this season?
As what I always say, don't be afraid to experiment with different styles.
Change is also good. Let yourself evolve to a better and more fashionable you :)

If you're still in love with Christmas,
here's a little music to keep you company.

When In HongKong

A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to visit HongKong and destress a bit.
Though we were not able to visit Disneyland and Ocean Park this time around
due to massive changes in our plans, it was one hell of a trip.

For my readers who haven't been to Disney, (whether it be in HK or USA etc.),
do make sure to put it in your bucketlist, because I guarantee you'll love it :)

A big hello from my twin and I :)

We were also joined by grandpa and our cousin (who took this photo).
One reason why we came to HK was to satisfy our food cravings.

When in HongKong, you eat as if there's no tomorrow.

And what better way to do it than celebrate with the company of relatives and friends.
After all, they can make good food recommendations, now that they are locals!

And this is what I'm talking about.

And the famous DIMSUM.
All to our heart's content :)

Grandpa and I having a little QT! :)

The second tip: When in HongKong, go island hopping.

Do visit Lantau Island,
HongKong's largest outlying island and home to the giant Buddha.
The bronze Buddha is said to be 111 feet or 34 meters high.

To get here is actually the fun part.

Through a cable car ride, you'll get an incredible panoramic and
breathtaking view of the mountainside and the South China Sea.
It's an experience one shouldn't miss.

Can't help but take a little video selfie! :)

I highly suggest choosing the glass-bottomed Crystal Cabin
(than the Standard Cabin) for you to fully experience
an incredible dimension of beauty and magnificence.

If you have a big fear on heights,
then this will be a challenge, but I promise, it will be all worth it.

If this isn't your cup of tea, the third of option you can do is
When in HongKong, get lost and explore.
Ride a tram and visit Madame Tussauds, a wax museum of famous personalities!
To know more about it, checkout this post of mine: Walk with Me

Experience the beauty of the Hongkong skyline
by also visiting The Avenue of Stars located in Tsim Sha Tsui.

If you want to read more about it,
you may checkout my previous feature of HongKong: Avenue of Stars

Now that we have finished eating and exploring,
then it's time to shop.

When in HongKong, immerse yourself in fashion.

Whether you're an avid fashionista or just feel like strolling around,
Times Square is a beautiful place to do just that.

And OMG, Star Wars StormTroopers!!!
Our visit was so timely :)
For those who haven't watched The Force Awakens,
do yourself a favor and buy yourself a ticket! You'll enjoy it!

I already miss Hong Kong!
Oh the separation anxiety :)

A Merry Christmas to everyone!

5 Tips to Boost Your Immunity during the Holidays

If only there's a
STOP
PLAY
rewind &
DELETE button in our lives,
everything will be much easier.

But hey, there isn't, so snap out of it and
live life without regrets.

I'm pretty sure by now you're starting to experience the holiday stress.
Those mixed emotions of what to give your loved-ones,
how to perform well for that extra bonus from your boss,
and not to mention the horrendous traffic,
all of these can make you go loco!!!

Trust me, I know how this feels.
Stress is a silent killer, always present in our lives.
My friends even ask me how I do it?
How I get to manage everything despite handling 5 different businesses.

Well, I admit it's not easy but there are ways on how I go about it.

Here are 5 effective ways on how I beat stress and still look my best.
And you should too.

REWARD YOURSELF.
Do what makes you happy.
Pamper yourself.  Get a new look or take a relaxing massage.
If music is your cup of tea, then why not enjoy a concert with your friends.
Always remember to treat yourself once in awhile,
because it is only by learning to take care of yourself
that you can appreciate what life has to offer.

LEARN TO LET GO.
Free your body and mind from worries.
Enroll in a yoga class. Swim. Run.
Beat anxiety through exercise.
This is the perfect way to restore balance in your life.

FOCUS.
A powerful word, but which one often neglects.
Make sure to separate work from your personal life.
Make a checklist of your priorities for the day and practice time management.
Having an end goal helps you alert and motivated.
Keep social media at a minimum as to avoid distractions.

And if ever you find the time, why not test your so-called shooting skills.
In fact, it's a great way of releasing stress and learning to focus,
Just pls make sure not to point it at anyone :)

KEEP YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM INTACT.
Whether it's your family, your friends or your significant other,
it's people like them that inspire you to not give up the fight.
Make sure to spend quality time with them. Learn to open up.
Having someone to confide in helps lessen that burdensome feeling
and at the same time allows you to understand  how your loved-ones
would solve the situation if they were in your shoes.

TAKE FERN-C.
Fern-C is a vitamin supplement that acts as a
potent anti-oxidant which helps boost your immune system,
thereby increasing your body's resistance from infectious diseases.
It is the leading non-acidic vitamin c brand for 10 years and counting.

Thanks to Fern-C, my Christmas will be stress-free.
I've been taking Fern-C daily and I managed
to think of 10 ways on it has improved my overall health.

Health is wealth as they say.
I believe that what makes Fern-C a premium and trusted brand
is that it is made of Sodium Ascorbate,
and not the more common Ascorbic Acid
which is found in most Vitamin C's sold in the market.

What's the difference between Sodium Ascorbate and Ascorbic Acid?
Here's a summary of the research I made

Never ever try to shortchange your health.
Choose Fern-C for your daily dose of added immunity.
If this is the first time you've heard about Fern-C,
I invite you my dearest reader to know more about Fern-C on:

#FernCSubokNa  #StressFreeChristmas #HealthyHoliday

With all this said and done, there is only one thing left to do:

ENJOY THE HOLIDAY SEASON.

Cheers to a healthier and more beautiful you :)

The Little Things

38 more days 'til Christmas!
Oh how time flies.

As we prepare ourselves for this special day,
it's important that we give thanks to the people
who have been with us day in and day out.

Whether it's our parents or household helpers,
they all deserve to be accorded with the same respect.
Yes, one way of making them feel special is by showering
them with gifts, but more than that we have to make them feel loved
and appreciated because that kind of feeling is above anything else.

For what it's worth, I just felt like sharing this because with
what is happening right now---
natural disasters here & there, a series of terrorist attacks,
there is no longer anything permanent in this world.

I pray that we all find solace in simple things.
May we all learn to value and cherish the relationships we have.

Before I bid you goodnight, my peg for this look is chic and casual.
Recreate this look by pairing a denim skirt with a patterned blouse.
Simply finished the look with a red lippie and a dashing pair of heels.

Love,

Taking Gifting to the Next Level

If you were to write to your future self today, what would it be?
Mine would go like this:

And if there's one statement in my letter
that I'd like you to remember:

"People might not know what you've done for them,
but don't you think that's what makes it truly beautiful?"

For me, that's one of the best feelings one can ever have.
Speaking of that magical feeling,
Now that Christmas is fast approaching,
have you already made a list and check it twice?

Here's how I plan to celebrate the Holiday Season.

For the past few months, my work has led me to live an unbalanced life.
This Christmas, I want to bring back that so called spark.

Like any kid out there, gifts fascinate me!
So making a Christmas Wishlist is a must.
Who knows someone might read it and become my secret santa.

This  Yuletide Season, my wishlist is rather meaningful.
Aside from the latest gadgets and fashion items that I usually desire,
what I wanted to give myself this year is the gift of wellness.

I do hope I'll be able to tick everything in my wishlist! :)

Now that I've got myself covered, here are my gift ideas for my lovedones this year.
My family has always been my support system and what better way to
thank them for all the love than to shower them with surprises.

I will prepare a special meal for them and bring them to some place enchanting
so that we can bond and reminisce over beautiful memories.
I will then sneak into their rooms just before they are about to sleep
and shower them with gifts that I know they will love.

How about you? What are you planning this year?
Just remember that it doesn't have to be extravagant for it to be perfect;
what matters is that you put your heart to it :)

While many people see Christmas as a celebratory affair,
I invite you and all my readers to take one step further and
spread the love to people who need it the most.

If there's one thing I'm proud to say,
it's that every effort comes a long way.

Remember that time Typhoon Yolanda hit our country?
It was so devastating that I had to do something.
I created "Project ICare" and put boxes in every floor of our office building
for people to actively help through their own donations.
Surprisingly, I got more than what I asked for.

An ordinary citizen like me was able to do it, and so can you.
In fact, this Season is the perfect time to share your love.

Here's one way on how you can make someone feel special:

Check out the SM Cares Bears of Joy campaign and
know how you can take part in the season of “gift-ing”

What I love about this campaign is that
the intention is very sincere ;
 I would definitely support the
Give a Bear of Joy Today campaign initiated by
SM Cares, a division of SM Foundation.

For just P200, you get to bring home one bear and
share another to children from various charitable institutions.

Come to think of it, this is just equal to your daily dose of caffeine
or a movie ticket. A little sacrifice would go a long way and
don't you think one of the best feeling is
to be the reason behind another's smile?
I hope you can find it in your heart to support this campaign too <3

For you, it might just be an ordinary bear,
but to those children, it can mean family.
Share the love. Give a bear of Joy Today.
#MerrySMChristmas2015 #SeasonOfGifting.

Now that I've shared most of my plans for the Holiday Season,
it's time to go back to my first love: SHOPPING!

A Merry Christmas Indeed!

Breaking Coordinates

Matching a top to a different bottom may sometimes be tricky to pull off,
but it can also be very rewarding when one sees the final output.
So if there's one easy tip that we can all live by,
it's to always invest in basic styles and neutral colors.

The outfit to my left is featured via my style post A Beautiful Disaster ,
while that of the right can be found via Of Lace and Stripes.

This is how a simple mix and match can create a new level of chic.

Taking inspiration from the classic black and white peg,
I created this casual laidback look by
combining a basic croptop with lace suspenders
and finishing it off with an eyecatching loafer.

How do you like this new look?
Stay creative and inspired dearest readers :)

Black is the New Clean

I'll keep it short but sweet.
Women are the most beautiful when they feel good about themselves.

So if there's one style staple that every girl must own,
it's the famous Little Black Dress aka LBD.
Trust me, that extra oomph will make wonders!

For style aficionados out there, this dress of mine is from ROMWE.

By now, you've probably heard this a million times:
---That Black makes you look Sexy;

But what most people don't know is that
Black is the New Clean.

Ironic as it may sound, you might ask me, in what way?
Well, it's all about Palmolive Naturals' newest soap,
Palmolive Naturals Flawless Clean
infused with 100% natural charcoal powder.

I know, I know, an instant reaction would be, "Charcoal??? That's dirty!"
Before you judge though, do give it a shot because charcoal powder actually
helps wash away dirt from the skin leaving it soft to touch.

It's the first of its kind that will leave you feeling clean and flawless all day.
It's time for you to discover the New Clean.

Fall in love with black and join me in a beautiful affair to remember :)

IamMyOwnStylist
