No Other Woman

When it comes to love, there must be no third party.
And when it comes to family,
there should be no other woman that deserves only the best...

Before the final reveal, checkout my look for the day

I dressed up for the occasion because we are going to Solaire.
My second time there! Love that place :)

I wanted to sport a chill and sexy look.
Green is certainly one of the best choices as it looks young, vibrant and alive.

And of course, backless for the extremely hot weather in the Philippines.

So the time has come, Drumrolls pls...
Of course, MOM is the one and only Woman who deserves the best :)
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

(Picture taken 2 years ago)
How time flies!

Off we go to SOLAIRE RESORT & CASINO!!!
The beautiful fountains will greet you the moment you enter.
It's patterned after the beautiful Dubai and Macao.

So magical!

As people would say,
Mom looks so young and she could pass as another sister of mine.
Thank you Mom for always being there for me despite my being stubborn.
I love you :)

We ate at Yakumi, a signature Japanese Restaurant inside Solaire Resort & Casino.

Very modern and sophisticated!
You will easily fall in love with the design

And look!!! They even provide special chairs for bags.
They sure know how to treat their guests well.
Now my handbag is getting special treatment :)

Food is extremely delectable and certainly a must try.
My personal favorite was the Australian Lamb Chops aka Saikyo Yaki.
Definitely one of the best lamb chops I've tasted.

Excellent Preparation and Presentation of Food, that is why I intentionally didn't post pictures! (haha)
I want you to see for yourself how creative they serve their dishes.
I don't want to spoil it.
You'll thank me :)

So there, How did you surprise your mom on her special day?

Now back to some last tips on my attire
You can also use the headpiece I'm wearing as a scarf, works vice versa.

At the end of the day, it's all about creativity and putting that YOU in your outfit :)

Smile and Just have fun! :)

Brianna

It's not everyday that you get to attend a Baby Shower and
it's actually times like this that remind you
that you yourself are not getting any younger (Oh Boy)!

              Here's my Look!

Dress from Taylor
Handbag by Charles & Keith

What I love about this look is that it's very feminine.
Pastel colors are also a must in occasions like this.

The Baby Shower was held at NAPA Bar & Restaurant.
It's located at No. 12 Scout Borromeo, South Triangle Quezon City.

It was my first time here and so as the others.
Surprisingly, the place was very homey and food here was sumptuous!

Look at this Cake! It is so cute!
The baby's name is Brianna.
I'm betting the one who baked this cake must have not heard about Rihanna,
'coz if he did then he would have guessed that Brianna is a girl :))
(Oh well)

BRIAN + NINA = BRIANNA
(pwede na!)

We were asked to each draw something for the Baby's Alphabet Book.
I got the letter T and was too tempted to write my name instead :))
But the baby has to learn something and not just my name so I decided T for turtle would be a good start.

Of course, any celebration wouldn't be complete without drinks!

I wasn't able to take a photo of what was set for buffet as we were still talking to Nina
about her pregnancy and excitement for her baby Brianna.
I did get a chance to take some photos of our extra orders as we did stay long at this event.
It was indeed a night of merry-making :)

We had 2 orders of this! It was that good!

Nachos Supreme

Crispy nacho chips topped with homemade Italian sausage, tangy tomato salsa, sour cream, jalapeno and cheese sauce

LAVA CAKE
    Indeed their Specialty!

I just love chocolate! It certainly is one of my comfort foods!

Thank you Nina and Brian for inviting us :)
I pray for your safe delivery Nina and as early as now, I am welcoming Brianna to the family! :)

Cheers,

Summer Breeze

With this extremely hot weather in the Philippines, I need to Keep Calm and Stay Cool.
Seriously, if only there's a refrigerator I could fit into, I would have made myself an eskimo inside :))

But anyways, enough of that crazy idea!
I chose to wear this Teal mullet dress to let my skin "breathe"

It's very light and flowy.
The best part is the back of this dress is made of lace.
Simply another way of getting that breezy-feel !
Plus, it looks very chic and feminine!

For this outfit, I decided to wear my Love Spoon Pendant Necklace from ROMWE.
Ain't it adorable? Very 'princessy' I must say.
A pinch of gold would always do the trick :)

3 Ds for this Summer:
Don't let the heat completely destroy your mood.
Dress up light and you'll feel good
Do smile and instantly look good :)

Glitter in Black

"One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a Little Black Dress."
                                                          -Karl Lagerfeld

What I wore to today's meeting?
A Little Black Peplum Dress!

As expected, people just came in casual attire. But as part of the event,
I didn't mind putting some extra effort to dress up as an executive :)
My dress in fact has glitters all over. Some are actually captured in the camera.
Just pair your LBD with nude pumps and you'll look fab!

I may be overdressed or whatnot, but I'm  happy that I did look great
with the compliments I got from random people.
