Touch of Pink

For today's post, I'm bringing you a Barbie-inspired look.

As you all might probably know, Barbie is into all things fashionable.
She's cheerful, friendly and most of all loves the color pink.

Pink is associated with youth.
While it's summer, wear pastel and dainty colors to make your skin glow.
Pair your ensemble with some stylish sunnies for that sweet look.

For the cut of the dress,
I recommend a little peek-a-boo back for the hot weather :)

Lastly, smile often and keep a positive attitude to attract good vibes.

Christmas Classic

A Merry Christmas to all my readers!!! :)

Pink or Peach would be one my recommended colors for the Holidays.

For the clothing style, I would say that Peplum dresses are still in.
They are so versatile that you can wear them in various occasions.
All you need to do is mix and match with your favorite heels and accessories.

Since I'm just going to the mall and having a Christmas dinner with my family,
I only wore few accessories and a comfortable pair of walking shoes.

The dress did all the talking

Dress by Tops & Totes
Bracelets by Forever21 and H&M
Shoes by Melissa

I hope that we all remember the true meaning of Christmas.
Let us find love and happiness in the company of each other.

Material gifts are just things.
The more relevant ones are those that money can't buy.
Family, friends, workmates and of course CHRIST.
Smile and have fun! :)

Cheers!

Bella

Every Girl wants to be the Belle of the ball.
As she enters the room, everyone present gazes at her ethereal beauty.
Oh boy, forgive me, I must be dreaming again... how enchanting this could be.

I call  this look
"SWEET CLASSIC"

To get this Look is really simple:

STEP 1:  Pick a dress with a neutral color like black, white, or beige.
It should be as simple as possible.

In my case, I chose my LBD from Forever21 as my basic piece.

STEP 2:  Choose accessories that can add to your femininity.
Flower crowns are my favorite. However, if this is too bold for you,
then you could wear a headband, a ribbon or a clip for a sweet look.

STEP 3:  Add Gold Accents
This incredible color is the secret to getting the glam factor.
Just look at the clothes of Greek Goddesses.
One tip to look ethereal without getting overboard.

STEP 4:  SMILE
Boys go GAGA with a girl's smile.
You don't own all the problems in the world,
so once in awhile do what makes you happy.
You owe that to yourself.

Bangles from Forever21

I'm sure you've noticed that everything I'm wearing is from Forever21.
I love this brand because it's a perfect fit to my personality.
Fun, feminine and Stylish;
 Yet extremely Versatile

For the record, this post is by no means sponsored by Forever21.
Hopefully someday, I do get a chance to become one of their brand ambassadors
or at least collaborate with them for any fashion event.

Big dream I know, but for those of you who are my loyal followers,
I'm sure you know about my Runway Gig.
It's something I won't forget. An opportunity I'm forever grateful for :)

Brianna

It's not everyday that you get to attend a Baby Shower and
it's actually times like this that remind you
that you yourself are not getting any younger (Oh Boy)!

              Here's my Look!

Dress from Taylor
Handbag by Charles & Keith

What I love about this look is that it's very feminine.
Pastel colors are also a must in occasions like this.

The Baby Shower was held at NAPA Bar & Restaurant.
It's located at No. 12 Scout Borromeo, South Triangle Quezon City.

It was my first time here and so as the others.
Surprisingly, the place was very homey and food here was sumptuous!

Look at this Cake! It is so cute!
The baby's name is Brianna.
I'm betting the one who baked this cake must have not heard about Rihanna,
'coz if he did then he would have guessed that Brianna is a girl :))
(Oh well)

BRIAN + NINA = BRIANNA
(pwede na!)

We were asked to each draw something for the Baby's Alphabet Book.
I got the letter T and was too tempted to write my name instead :))
But the baby has to learn something and not just my name so I decided T for turtle would be a good start.

Of course, any celebration wouldn't be complete without drinks!

I wasn't able to take a photo of what was set for buffet as we were still talking to Nina
about her pregnancy and excitement for her baby Brianna.
I did get a chance to take some photos of our extra orders as we did stay long at this event.
It was indeed a night of merry-making :)

We had 2 orders of this! It was that good!

Nachos Supreme

Crispy nacho chips topped with homemade Italian sausage, tangy tomato salsa, sour cream, jalapeno and cheese sauce

LAVA CAKE
    Indeed their Specialty!

I just love chocolate! It certainly is one of my comfort foods!

Thank you Nina and Brian for inviting us :)
I pray for your safe delivery Nina and as early as now, I am welcoming Brianna to the family! :)

Cheers,

Wardrobe Change

Ola! I decided to revamp my site and voila!!!

From this

It became this!

So how do you like my blog's new look?

Well, if you love it, as early as now, I would confess I didn't design it!

It's designed by one of my closest friends Jasmin Sarmiento.

Isn't she pretty?!! One of my fave pics of her. This girl I must say is extremely talented (Not to mention, she too has a big heart)! Truth is I don't know where she's not good at! :))

Anyways, if any of you happens to be in need of someone who's good in making logos or websites, I would recommend that you consider her! She didn't ask me to do this but I believe in her talent so I believe it's time for her to be in the spotlight.

Here are some of her mock sample designs (I hope she doesn't kill me for sharing)!

These are just some samples from her portfolio! She's into photography and design so if you happen to need her help, just send her an email at jasminweigelsarmiento@gmail.com or you can inform me :)

Good night dear readers! Stay tuned for my next post :)

Pink Lollipop

Most girls go gaga over the color PINK

It certainly is one of the prettiest colors and some girls would even have their entire room filled with Pink stuffs making them feel like a Princess. I'm not obsessed with the color but it sure is one of my favorites. It's fun, fresh, feminine and alive!

Pink goes best with Black, White or Gold. These colors make you look instantly glammed up. If you want more quirky colors, you can always try ColorBlocking. Love Neon? Try mixing pink with yellow and finish the look by accessorizing with some bangles and beads. That should do the trick.

DollFace

Don't get me wrong.
I'm not Barbie who's perfect in every angle. In fact, I'm far from being one.
But who wouldn't wish to have at least some resemblance of her.

So this is my own remake.
No judging please :)
Being a chinita, I will just call myself an Oriental Doll.
(laughs)

My take on dolls. Curled Hair, Pink Lips and Lace!

Remember, dolls come in many shapes and sizes. Go Figure.
Stay tuned for my next post.
